Suede & Windowpane.
As much as I am totally a jeans + a sweater girl most days, I’ve been pushing myself to get a little more creative with my wardrobe and try to mix in new pieces that are a bit outside of my comfort zone. A perfect example? This suede skirt. Even after I had seen plenty of stylish outfits floating around Pinterest featuring suede pieces, I didn’t think it was quite my thing but when I spotted this option for under $50, I snagged it and gave it a shot.
And you know what? I’m digging it. It’s neutral enough to mix in with plenty of top options and looks great with black tights while the texture brings in some extra oomph. I also realized while packing my closet this weekend (we’re moving March 1!) that I’ve added about 10 new pairs of ankle boots to my life since moving to San Francisco, but you know what, I’m not mad about it. This heeled pair from Madewell is always a favorite because the pebbled leather feels a bit bad ass while they’re comfortable enough for all day wear and walking.
